Swim like an Expert

Swimming is adopted for various reasons according to the choices and preferences of different people. The most common reasons to adopt swimming are sports, recreation, and as an exercise. During swimming the body is moves ahead in water by moving the limbs and body in coordination. A consistent sport in most of the countries is swimming which is adopted for recreation.
There are many styles which beautify the sport and enhance the grace. These techniques are easy to learn and practice and are commonly known as strokes. The strokes are adopted for competitive swimming i.e. swimming competition or Olympic swimming. When one is swimming for recreation or as a beginner then strokes are not compulsory. They can swim the way they like or feel comfortable and can also practice strokes.
The most important strokes in swimming are front crawl, breast stroke, back stroke and butterfly stroke. The least regulated stroke is the front crawl which consisted basically of kicking the legs upwards or downward. The arms are rotated in a windmill’s fan motion to swim forward in water. The head is turned to the side for breathing as the arm is pulled out of the water. Try to breathe once in the complete cycle of two arm movements in windmill style.
For breast stroke the palms are joined together in front in a praying style. The hands are then moved out to the side of the body and complete a Zwemles rotterdam half circle motion. Then from the side bring your arms together in front of the chest and then push forward and then move out to the side again. Whenever you move forward raise your head and breathe for a while. For kicking the knees are bent and the feet are brought to the tailbone and then the legs are moved out to complete the half circle with the feet just like the hands.
The back stroke is same as the front crawl but the body is floated in the opposite style i.e. the back bone is on the water and the chest out of water. Other techniques are copied exactly like the front crawl.

Butterfly stroke is the most difficult among all the strokes of swimming. In this the body of the swimmer is floated in water like a butterfly flying in air. Kick with high stamina when the head is underwater and then bringing the arms and hands out and then perform a small kick.
